From the start menu:

Creating windows logoff shortcut :
As a simple way and instead of the above mentioned method you can just create a windows logoff shortcut on the desktop.
1. Open a new shortcut.
2. At the box of “type the location of the item:” inter C:\Windows\System32\logoff.exe then press next.
3.the shortcut is named logoff by default, you could rename it or just click finish to create it.
4. Now you have logoff shortcut on the desktop, and you could log out easily by double click on it.
finally, we should mention that Microsoft ended support for windows 7 on 14 January 2020. And all the users have to update to windows 10 or at least 8 to keep their login save.
