Starting from the star of the show we have the new iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max which come in a new attractive color; pacific blue and creative details.

The two Pro models will be available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch size options; both of them have full-screen Super Retina XDR displays that are edge-to-edge with of course Face ID notch.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro has a resolution of 2532 x 1170 with 460 pixels per inch.

The 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max has a resolution of 2778 x 1284 and a 458 ppi. The displays offer HDR support with 1200 nits peak brightness, Wide Color, Haptic Touch, and True Tone.

The camera:

In general the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max offer identical specs, but the main difference here is the camera.

iPhone 12 Pro comes with a seven-element Wide camera with an f/1.6 aperture, which brings 27 percent improved low-light performance for photos and videos.

There’s also an Ultra-Wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and a 52mm telephoto lens that offers 4x optical zoom.

But iPhone 12 Pro Max besides the seven-element Wide camera with an f/1.6 aperture, has a 47 percent larger sensor for an 87 percent improvement in low light.

It has the same Ultra-Wide camera and a 65mm telephoto lens that enables the 5x optical zoom.

It also supports sensor-shift optical image stabilization for the Wide lens that stabilizes the sensor instead of the lens itself.

5G support

The new iPhone 12 models are the first to feature 5G connectivity, 5G coverage is available worldwide, but only iPhone 12 devices sold in the United States support mmWave 5G, which is the fastest 5G technology available.

For the prices, The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro will be available for pre-order on Friday, October 16 with a launch to follow on Friday, October 23.

It is priced starting at $999 for 128GB of storage, with 256 and 512GB of storage available for $1,099 or $1,299, respectively.

The 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available for pre-order on Friday, November 6 with a launch to follow on Friday, November 13.

Pricing on the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at $1,099 for 128GB of storage, with 256 and 512GB of storage available for $1,199 or $1,399, respectively.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini are smaller editions with a 6.1-inch and 5.4-inch, iPhone 12 Mini is the smallest iPhone Apple has introduced since the 2016 iPhone SE.

The camera

iPhone 12 and 12 mini have a dual-lens camera setup, with significant camera improvements in the new iPhone 12 models compared to the iPhone 11.

Here are an f/2.4 Ultra-Wide camera and a Wide camera that has a new f/1.6 aperture that lets in 27 percent more light for better performance in low-light conditions along with 2x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.

Like the iPhone 12 Pro models, the iPhone 12 models can capture 30fps HDR video with Dolby Vision, enabling cinema-grade videos to be captured, edited, and shared right on the iPhone.

The iPhone 12 offers up to 17 hours of video playback, 11 hours of streaming video playback, or 65 hours of audio playback. The iPhone 12 mini offers up to 15 hours of video playback, 10 hours of streaming video playback, or 50 hours of audio playback.

Both of the new iPhones offer fast charging, which provides a 50 percent charge in 30 minutes using a 20W power adapter.

iPhone 12 and 12 mini come in five colors: blue, green, black, white, and red.
